VKIST participates in “Automation Graduation Day”

In implementation of the Recruitment Plan in 2020, Vietnam - Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) participated in the "Automation Graduation Day" organized by the Department of Industrial Automation - School of Electrical Engineering (Hanoi University of Science and Technology - HUST) from 16 to 17 July, 2020 at HUST’s campus.

Attending the festival, there were 132 industrial automation graduates, lecturers and recruitment officers of 10 agencies and businesses including VKIST, S5T Technology Solution JSC, Lumi Vietnam JSC, FPT Telecom JSC, Petrolimex Telecommunications Informatics JSC (PIACOM), Tan Phat Automation JSC (TPA), SeleX Motors JSC, EPI Vietnam Technologies Co., Ltd. (EPI), PETROSETCO Assets Management JSC (PSA) and M1 Information One Member Limited Liability Company.

At the event, VKIST Principal Investigators (PI) in the field of information technology and automation participated in dissertation defense councils in order to find potential graduates for their research groups. Along with that, promotional activities, i.e. distribution of VKIST R&D pamphlets, and recruitment advices were carried out at VKIST’s booth. Students were provided with detailed information on VKIST application procedure as well as their interested research field(s).

Especially, VKIST successfully organized 02 small seminars at the recruitment room. Mr. Pham Duy Hoc - VKIST’s P.I in automation field, chaired the seminars that attracted the great attention of newly graduates. VKIST staff enthusiastically answered to numerous queries of many students related to the structure and organization of VKIST, electric machine and power electronic technologies. At the end of the seminar, many graduates expressed their desire to apply for VKIST as researchers in the shortest time.

The event "Automation Graduation Day" is considered a successful start in recruiting "outside the headquarter" of VKIST. It is expected that VKIST continues this recruitment model at Vietnam’s top technical universities, ensuring the recruitment of sufficient researchers by the end of 2020.
