VKIST makes recruitment by online system

Recruitment minimizes crowded activities, enhances to use "online meeting" during prevention and control pandemic Covid-19..

Following the 2020 work plan approved by the 4th Council meeting on February 14, 2020, Vietnam-Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) public announced recruitment for administrative staff from 2 to 25/3/2020.

In this time, VKIST recruit in 6 specific positions: (i) - Human Resource management; (ii) - Research and Development Management (R&D); (iii) - Management Information Systems (MIS); (iv) - General Affair; (v) - External Affair; (vi) - Administrative Staff. During the time in 22 days, VKIST has received 165 candidate's profiles. After selecting suitable documents for recruitment criteria of VKIST, 40 candidates were selected for the first interview.

Foloowing the Directive No. 16/CT-TTg on April 1, 2020 about implementation of urgent measures to prevent and control COVID-19, including not being able to gather too many people (over 10 people outside public places, schools, hospitals), so it is not allowed to gather at the same time the number of candidates eligible for interview. VKIST has used online technical in recruitment meetings to recruit, avoiding gathering of candidates while ensuring the schedule.

On April 8, 2020, the first round of interview was conducted at the headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Technology, with all members of Committee and 15 candidates.

The interview process takes place as planned and does not encounter any difficulties due to carefully prepared technical factors. The members of committee have fairly similar comments on quality of the candidates as well as selection criteria were clearly agreed from the beginning. The candidates interviewed also had a good psychological, visual and active interaction with the committee members. The interview was successfully organized, candidates with good marks will enter second round and take place in third week of April.
