Ms. Hoang Hien Hau received the Decision to appoint the Head of Administration Division
At the ceremony, Dr. Kum Dongwha - VKIST President awarded the Decision to appoint Ms. Hoang Hien Hau as Head of Administration Division of VKIST for a definite period. This is an important management position that plays an important role in supporting the completion of VKIST’s operation apparatus, as well as in connecting VKIST with other organizations. During her 15 years of working experience in various management agencies (including 7-year working experience at the Department of International Cooperation under MOST), Ms. Hau has proved herself as a hard-working, reliable and capable civil servant. Therefore, Ms. Hau is expected to successfully complete the management and operation of the Administration Division, contributing to the development and success of VKIST.
With various functions and tasks such as: managing and operating the general operation of VKIST; managing human resources, assets and facilities procurement, administration and external affairs, the work of the Administration Division is really challenging. Yet Ms. Hau has committed to try her best to completed assigned tasks. Also, Ms. Hau wishes to receive close guidance of the leaders of VKIST as well as the coordination and support of other colleagues so that she can successfully fulfill her tasks.
VKIST’s President Kum Dongwha awarded Certificates to researchers of Electronics Division
The latter Part of the ceremony is to welcome and award certificates to 16 new researchers, who had been recruited as public employees according to job positions in different research majors. Many of them achieved masters or PhD degrees from prestigious universities at home and abroad. “I hope all VKIST staff, especially young researchers who have just joined VKIST this time, will always try their best to study and research in their professional fields, helping VKIST to thrive in the direction of a Contract Research Institute”- said the President.
Mr. Tran Tuan Thanh, Head of Planning and Coordination Division, presented an overview about VKIST
On behalf of VKIST leaders, Mr. Tran Tuan Thanh - Head of Planning and Coordination Division - provided an overview presentation of VKIST including vision, goals, strategies, financial autonomy mechanisms, Contract Research Institute model and organizational chart. Currently, the focus research fields include biotechnology, power electronics, information technology and integrated technology based on biotechnology and information technology (IT and BT).

According to President Kum, in order to achieve the goal of "A technology solution provider for market winners", all leaders, researchers and administrative staff of VKIST need to regularly ask not only "many questions" but also "good questions" and seek for the effective solutions. He believes that when an individual knows how to develop himself, he not only helps himself but also contributes to the development of his organization and his country. That is the proudest and most precious thing.
