Due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, many social distancing measures have been applied in many provinces and cities of Vietnam. To overcome this difficulty, VKIST organized an online recruitment consulting seminar to attract potential candidates, especially young Vietnamese studying and working abroad to learn and exchange relevant information regarding VKIST and VKIST's recruitment batches.
The year 2021 is very important for VKIST to promote the consolidation of the organizational structure, in which recruitment is actively implemented with the goal of stabilizing the personnel structure and preparing for the new Phase. Phase 1 of the VKIST Establishment Project, which is funded by the Vietnamese Government and the Korean Government, is ending on December 31, 2021.
During the first 8 months, VKIST has carried out 04 recruitment batches for both research and administration positions. In order to answer queries of interested candidates, VKIST organized an online recruitment consulting seminar on the VKIST’s fan page and VKIST’s You Tube channel on August 30, 2021.
Participating in the online seminar, there were Dr. Kum Dongwha - VKIST’s President, Dr. Hoang Hien Hau - Head of Administration Division, Assoc. Dr. Phuong Thien Thuong - Head of Biotechnology Division (IT), Dr. Nguyen The Hoang Anh - Representative of Information Technology (IT) Division, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Ngoc Lien - Head of IT& BT Convergence Technology Division, and MSc. Pham Duy Hoc - Head of Electronics Division.
VKIST’s leaders participated in the online recruitment consulting seminar
The seminar attracted the interest and interactions of many Vietnamese candidates living at home and abroad. During the online session, the candidates continuously sent questions to the Organizing Committee. The main questions related to VKIST’s research orientation and environment, salary and remuneration mechanism, personal development opportunities, and the way to apply and sign a working contract with candidates living abroad, etc. VKIST leaders tried to answer most candidates’ questions. However, due to limited time, some answers were sent to emails of the candidates after the seminars.

The online seminar is a “golden” opportunity for candidates to hear answers from VKIST leaders about VKIST's mission, vision, functions, tasks, organizational structure, and research activities. Those who participated in the session could directly raise questions to the VKIST leaders, thereby having a panoramic view of VKIST and a better understanding of the job position they are considering applying for.
