Vietnam-Korea Institute of Science and Technology launched support for the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund

Responding to the call to contribute to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on the morning of June 14th 2021, VKIST mobilized all public employees, labor workers and experts to promote the spirit of solidarity and contribute to Covid-19 Prevention and Control Vaccine Fund.

These days, the whole country has made great efforts and determined to repel the pandemic by many practical actions. On June 5th 2021, the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund was officially launched with the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. At the launching ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on compatriots, soldiers nationwide and overseas Vietnamese to join hands with the Government to contribute money to the Fund to have the vaccine as soon as possible. Each contribution is meaningful, brought about greater safety for ourselves, our families, the community and the whole society.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Hoang Hien Hau - Head of Administration Division emphasized that “This is a practical activity of VKIST’s public employees, contract labors and experts to respond to the Government’s calling for a peak donation to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. Ms. Hau also thanked all VKIST’s officials and experts for promoting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support together with the pandemic prevention work to reach dual goals of protecting the people's health and maintaining the socio-economic development.

All proceeds will be transferred to the Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology to contribute to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.
