With the purpose of promoting the linkage components of the Regional Ecosystem (startups, universities, research institutes, investment funds, start-up support organizations, etc.) with the National Ecosystem and international; create and spread the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation of young people in the locality. The Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the People's Committee of Nghe An province co-organized the Techfest event in the North-Central region in 2018 in Nghe An province.
Attending the event will be representatives of Ministry leaders, representatives of units under the Ministry of Science and Technology; Representatives of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Nghe An province; Representative of Department of Science and Technology leaders of Northern Central provinces; Representative of North Central University, Research Institute; A number of large enterprises in the North Central Region; Innovative start-up businesses in the North Central region; Representatives of a number of investment funds and start-up support organizations, experts, scientists.
Within the framework of the event, product introduction activities and startup projects of the North Central Region will take place; Workshop "Link building ecosystems innovative start-up in North Central Region"; seminar "Orientation policies for the North Central region associated with businesses, large corporations in supporting the development of startup products and projects associated with the specific strengths of the North Central Region such as agriculture and tourism , medicinal herbs”; seminar on "issues on community building to support startups and innovation". Especially, in the event, there will be a contest "Finding talent for innovation and innovation in the North Central region". The contest will evaluate and select 5 most outstanding startup products and projects to join Techfest Vietnam 2018.
