Recruitment work of VKIST in the first 6 months of 2021

On the basis of Decision No. 764/QD-BKHCN dated April 5, 2021 of the Minister of Science and Technology on assigning quantity of public employees and labor contracts at VKIST in 2021, VKIST developed a recruitment plan for 2021. Accordingly, in the first 6 months, VKIST has conducted 02 recruitment rounds for public employees.

Accordingly, in the first 6 months, VKIST has conducted 02 recruitment rounds for public employees.

VKIST's recruitment goal is to find candidates with good expertise, creativity and enthusiasm, thereby forming VKIST’s stable workforce to create a breakthrough and national competitiveness in science and technology and contribute to building a new research institute paradigm according to international standards. In 2021, VKIST continues to recruit personnel for R&D and Administration Divisions. This is a good opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their competence, expertise in a professional environment towards an international level.

Due to the complicated situation of the COVID-19 epidemic, in recent recruitment rounds, VKIST has held a number of online interviews for candidates who are far away or working or studying abroad. All recruitment services were implemented in a methodical manner and in accordance with current regulations. For candidates living near VKIST Headquarters, the face-to-face interview method was applied with hourly distance and fully comply with the Government's anti-epidemic regulations.

In the first 2 rounds, VKIST recruited Head of R&D Division positions in food technology, biomedical and water treatment... and 13 job positions for 5 Divisions including information technology, electronics, biotechnology, convergence technology based on information technology and biotechnology, administration.

Dr. Hoang Hien Hau, Head of Administration Division said: “VKIST recruitment announcements are publicly posted on VKIST's website and some other mass media. The recruitment rounds strictly follow the current organizational process, and VKIST always aims to ensure that the recruitments are organized openly, democratically and seriously. In particular, during the previous recruitment process, candidates got maximum support and could openly communicate with HR team, creating comfortable and confident mentality for them”

Mr. Hoang Kim Quy, candidate for the position of electronics researcher, said: “I am very impressed with VKIST's professional recruitment process, for example I received full guidance for the interview and facilities for the exam were thoughtfully prepared. I feel fortunate to have been selected for the interview round and hope to receive good results to contribute to VKIST.”

The online and offline interview process took place as planned and without difficulty thanks to well-prepared technical factors. Members of the Recruitment Council made quite similar comments about the quality of candidates for the second batch of 2021, as well as the selection criteria that were clearly agreed from the beginning. In 2021, VKIST is going to organize more recruitment rounds, attract more potential candidates to select the best personnel, contributing to the establishment of a strong organization in the future.
