On the side of MOST Female Intellectual Association, there were Ms. Pham Thi Van Anh – Vice President of the Association cum Vice Director of Department of Organization and Personnel at MOST together with other members.
On the side of VKIST, there were Ms. Hoang Hien Hau – Head of Administration Division and other Heads of Division accompanied by several researchers and administrative staff.

On behalf of the research divisions, Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Ngoc Lien - Head of Convergence Technology Division, the only female Head of research division, briefly shared the research orientation that her research group is currently implementing and some outstanding results. Ms. Lien expected that her research group would launch two product lines of Magnetic Lateral Flow Immunoassays strip (MagLFIA) within the period of 2021-2025 for rapidly detecting influenza viruses and breast cancer markers. She also shared that the next research direction of her research group is to focus on developing a colorimetric sensor directly attached to the packaging of meat and fish products to monitor the status of freshness, signs of spoilage and contamination of the product.
Through the discussion, Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Ngoc Lien sent her most sincere thanks to the Departments under MOST for supporting her research group in the process of implementing and research projects in the past time. She also expressed her hope that VKIST would receive more support in the near future so that VKIST could grow stronger and bring more products for the benefit of the community.

At the end of the meeting, the MOST Female Intellectual Association joined a laboratory tour around VKIST to understand more about research activities that VKIST is currently carrying out.
