During his visit, Mr. Kim talked with VKIST President Dr. Kum Dongwha about the construction of the VKIST building, the landscaping of its campus, the benchmarking of KIST (Korea) laboratories as an example for VKIST, and other important issues. Mr. Kim emphasized the need to focus on quality rather than scale in carrying out the VKIST project, and offered to return to VKIST if necessary to further aid in fostering VKIST’s construction.
Especially, VKIST is a very important project that is the bridge between Vietnam and Korea cooperation in science and technology development so it is advised to keep track of the construction progress and ensure the quality of every category.
