On October 21, 2019, in Ben Tre province, aiming to learn more about coconut oil production process, the researchers from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Gangneung branch (KIST, Gangnueng),National Center for Technological Progress (NACENTECH), Vietnam - Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) visited and worked with Luong Quoi Company, manufacturing and exporting products from Coconut of Vietnam.
During this tour, the researchers shared many experiences in researching about coconut oil, coconut oil production process as well as essential oil extraction technology.
The visit at Luong Quoi is one of important step in further research to find out the techniques in extracting coconut oil to produce coconut oil products such as cosmetics and drugs.Hopefully the visit will help researchers from KIST, VKIST, NACENTECH and Luong Quoi Company find ways to develop coconut oil products in the future.
