Whenever a new product enters the market and succeeds in attracting customers, sooner or later competitors will produce similar products. The Vietnam-Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) with leading Vietnamese scientists is taking the first steps in building a leading Institute of Technology-Industry Research in Vietnam.

Recognizing the importance of patent and intellectual property registration for VKIST research results, the Institute's leader invited expert Mr. Tran Le Hong, Deputy Director of the National Office of Intellectual Property to come for sharing knowledge about this issue with VKIST scientists and staffs at the Institute's office in the morning of February 10, 2020. Here, he has shared from the overview to details of the situation of intellectual property protection in Vietnam and around the world, how to access official sources of information on intellectual property. VKIST members participating in the sharing session had questions and open exchanges about what Mr. Hong brought about and were answered in detail and satisfactorily.
